The FAQ covers the answers to the vast majority of questions we receive each day. If you have any additional questions be sure to contact us today!

  1. Do you offer any discounts on the trailer (Military, Senior or Repeat Buyers)?

We appreciate your service and although our pricing is already impossible to beat we are happy to apply a $25 military discount with your DD214 or active Military ID. Thank you for your service!

  1. Why are Snapper Trailers prices so much lower than competitors?

When we sell high volume, we still make money, and the customer can get more for their dollar. Customers then spread the word and more trailer builders can stay in business, which means more American jobs. To us, this is an, “everybody wins” situation.

  1. Do you complete any vehicle registration and tag work?

Not at this time. Snapper Trailers provides you with the Certificate Origin sometimes called an MSO along with a Bill of Sale (BOS) and visit your closest Department of Motor Vehicles locations. Generally, registering a trailer is the same as registering a car. However, it varies from state to state, so please check with your local DMV for exact details in your state.

  1. Why are there different prices and locations listed?

If a trailer lists different locations and prices, it indicates where the trailer may be picked up and what the pricing is for that location after the associated freight charges that differ from location to location.

  1. How do payment terms work?

We do a minimal credit card deposit to reserve our trailers and to order customer requested trailers. Following the completion of all custom orders, the full balance is required at the time of pickup. On in-stock items, those items need to be paid in full within 7 days of placing the deposit.

All our pricing listed on the site or our lot locations are with the assumption that you will be paying with Cash, Check or Cashier’s Check. In the event you would like to pay with Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) then you will lose the case discount already built into our pricing. Wire transfers are available; however, a $25.00 fee will be assessed to your order. Unless specified, all deposits are non-refundable.

  1. The loss of cash discount is equal to what percentage?
  • Visa / MasterCard = 3%
  • Discover / Amex = 5%
  1. How do I order a trailer, trailer part, or trailer accessory?

The best way to order is to visit or call one of our convenient lot locations located throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas.

  1. Is financing available?

Yes! For well-qualified buyers, most of our trailers can be financed. Visit our Financing Options page for further details or contact us today! Custom ordered trailers may require a deposit (all deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise specified).

  1. What happens if I need a Warranty Repair?

Snapper Trailers did not manufacturer the trailer however, we will do everything in our power to work with the manufacturer including facilitation of parts or complete the work at one of our available lot service locations whenever possible. More extensive warranty repairs may require the manufacturer repair.

  1. What’s covered under Warranty?

In many cases, the warranty covers everything but Brake Wear, Tire Wear and misuse, but the complete warranty information can be viewed here.

  1. Where can I find the Trailer VIN number?

The Trailer VIN # can be found on the driver’s side front V-Nose bottom section.

  1. What additional pick-up information do I need to know?

Our staff is great at working on trailers and we go to great lengths to make sure the electrical system on your trailer is in proper working condition prior to pick-up. We ask that you take the time to make sure that the electrical system (i.e. 4-way or 7-way plug) on your tow vehicle is in proper working condition.

  1. How long does it take to receive a custom special ordered trailer?

Factory turnaround can vary, but typically special orders run roughly 2-4 weeks during slow parts of the year (August – January) but can be increased from February through July. If any of our competitors tell you differently, they’re lying to you.

  1. Can I choose a different color for my trailer?

Some of our Enclosed Trailers do come in optional colors if special ordered. We do keep some of the most popular trailers in colors other than white, but you may have to order yours to get that color to match your new motorcycle or vehicle. View our selection of Trailer Colors, or contact us to see what’s available on the lot or to discuss a custom order.

  1. Will this trailer be enough to haul my bike/car/equipment?

Unfortunately, this question doesn’t have a one size fits all answer, but the experts at Snapper Trailers can make sure you get a trailer that suits your specific needs. You will need to do your homework before calling, like measure what you are hauling and find out an approximate weight of what you plan to haul. Don’t forget about the extra stuff, like tool boxes, track bike, golf carts, winches, spare tires or fuel.

  1. Do you offer Canadian trailer sales?

Snapper Trailers is authorized to conduct Canadian trailer sales, and our trailers are exportable. Contact us to speak with a sales associate for further information.

  1. What is your returned check policy?

All returned checks are processed by the bank twice before deemed insufficient. Returned checks are initially returned by the bank. Pro-Line will charge a $35 returned check fee for each returned check. Returned checks must be paid by cash, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card.
